NeXtWind is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Manager to develop and oversee our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT systems and security, strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to handle both day-to-day administrative tasks as well as complex developmental projects. This role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to expand into more advanced IT and development projects as our company continues to grow. 
Key Responsibilities: 

• IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the company’s hardware and software systems.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems, implementing necessary protocols and updates.
  • Manage network infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity.
• Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation and training materials for end-users.
• Project Management:
  • Lead and manage IT projects, from planning and execution to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of IT resources.
• Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with department heads to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate IT strategies and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends and best practices, implementing improvements where applicable.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT team.

• 5+ years of professional experience managing IT infrastructures, of which 2+ years of professional experience in the space of IT security.
• Experience with ITIL 4 framework is a plus (especially if supplemented by an ISO/IEC 20000 certification).
• Experience with KRITIS environments is a big plus (especially in the energy sector).
• Experience with ISMS framework is a plus (especially if supplemented by an ISO/IEC 27001 certification).
• Experience with implementing the NIS2 directive is a very big plus.
• Professional certificates in the space of information technology and security (Cisco, CompTIA, ISACA, ISC2, Microsoft, OffSec) are a plus.
• Experience with one of the major Clouds (AWS and Azure preferred) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German as well as a strong command of English (proficiency in English is a plus).
